Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by Assam University, Silchar.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for admission to the FIRST SEMESTER of TDC (CBCS) shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent Examinations conducted by any recognized University/ Board/Council, which shall be treated as qualifying examinations. Provided that candidates for admission into the specific program of study shall also possess such other qualifying conditions as may be prescribed by the University or the concerned college.
No candidate shall be admitted to the FIRST SEMESTER of the TDC (CBCS) program of study unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination;
No candidate shall be allowed to offer Botany/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics/Zoology as one of the courses/subjects unless he/she has passed the concerned subject in the qualifying examination.
In case of selection of eligible candidates for admission to any TDC (CBCS) program of study, the colleges shall follow the Statutory Reservation Policy of the Government, including the Rules and Regulations prescribed therein.

College Infrastructure

Our college has necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. We have a small ground where we hanged out, the classroom does not have wifi, smart boards etc. we have a canteen the food is good and hygienic. there is a ncc, nss, etc.

College Infrastructure

Our college has only necessary infrastructures, laboratories available and library also. But wifi, smart boards and all are not available. Though ncc and nss are there in the college. Living spaces are clean and the food is also hygienic.

College Infrastructure

The cachar college silchar has average infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classrooms have desks, benches, black board and white board. It doesn't have new technologies like projectors. Wifi, smart boards are also not there. The college has a canteen which food is good. Living spaces are clean.
