Chandrakanti Ramawati Devi Arya Mahila PG College, Gorakhpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library has been part of the institution since its inception in 1990, with 150 No. of books. The library is situated on the top floor of the college wing. It occupies about 3000 Sq. ft. and can accommodate about 100 students at a time. The library is provided with proper ventilation, lighting, and fans. At the present time, almost 17224 collections of books are housed in the library. The library is led by Mrs. Shraddha Mishra. 

The college Chandrakati Devi Mahila Girls Hostel, established in 2008, is located within the college campus and is an integral part of the College. Hostel affairs are co-ordinated under the guidance and supervision of the resident warden. The warden is assisted by hostel students’ union. The hostel committee under the chairmanship of the Principal frames the rules and regulations of the hostel and is the final authority in matters concerning the hostel. The Hostel has a total number of 36 furnished rooms. The rooms are allotted on a sharing basis among two students. Cleaning is done daily by the housekeeping staff. The washrooms are separate from the rooms within the hostel. 

The college Computer lab was established in the college in the year 2010 with the approval of B.A with subjects Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics. The College has one computer laboratory with 60 computers in lab accessible to students. All the Computers in the building are connected to a LAN. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which caters to the requirements of the students, teachers, and the curriculum. The college is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection, so enterprising students can get a chance to be familiar with the Internet. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations. 

The College is providing a canteen facility to the students as well as the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, it is capable of catering to the demands of the students. Generally, the college provides it to any individual on a contract basis after proper official’s formalities. It is located in a central place on the college campus. It provides hygienic and economical varieties of food. Breakfast, lunch are sold at reasonable prices. Other snacks, soft drinks are also available here.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The College Has A Spacious Auditorium (321.62 sq. m.) Known As The Dr. Ramraksha Pandey Memorial Hall, Where Cultural Programmes, Seminars, Workshops, And Competitions Are Held.

The college has sports. Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. We’ve specially developed a sports environment that matches international standards and gives a truly global experience for all our students. All of which are provided to them on the campus. There are multiple sports facilities to keep our students engaged and physically fit.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The College Sick Room is ready to provide health care services to all students at any time during college hours. The Sick Room is equipped with a bed, a first-aid kit, and medicines for primary treatment. 

The college has smart classrooms for the students.

The college has a hostel; residents are provided with a Wi-Fi facility. User ID and password are issued by the IT center of the College. Internet is available round the clock.

The college has a club called the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC), which is a platform to engage school/college students through interesting activities and facilitate hands-on experience to sensitize them to their electoral rights and familiarize them with the electoral process of registration and voting. At ELCs, learning meets fun. Activities and Games are designed to stimulate and motivate students, provoking them to think and ask questions. Through ELC, the Election Commission of India aims to strengthen the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.
