City College of Pharmacy, Barabanki Admission Process

City College of Pharmacy, Barabanki, is an emerging pharmacy institute in the state, designed specifically for Indian students in Uttar Pradesh. It offers two specialised programmes in pharmacy, admission procedures for which are determined on merit as well as by entrance tests. The institution affords quality pharmacy education recognised by approval from AICTE and PCI.

The admission process in City College of Pharmacy is based on the state-level entrance examination. An entrance examination is being conducted for admission to the D.Pharma programme through the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP). City College of Pharmacy admission to the B.Pharma programme on the other end is based on the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE).

The modalities for application for JEECUP is anticipated to begin in January of the academic year, and it shall end sometime towards the close of April. To enroll for a D.Pharma course, an applicant must have successfully completed Class XII (Intermediate level) in the required subjects. For B.Pharma, students should have finished their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects.

City College of Pharmacy Application Process for D.Pharma

  • Register for the JEECUP examination on the official website.
  • Fill out the application form and pay the required fee.
  • Appear for the JEECUP exam on the scheduled date.
  • Once the results are out, selected candidates will be considered based on JEECUP scores, Class XII marks, and performance in the interview.
  • Selected candidates need to complete City College of Pharmacy admission formalities including verification of documents and fee deposition.

City College of Pharmacy Application Process for B.Pharma

  • Obtain admissions through the official portal for UPSEE.
  • Fill the application form along with requisite fee submission.
  • Appear for the UPSEE on the prescribed date.
  • City College of Pharmacy admission shall be considered on the basis of UPSEE score for the successful candidates.
  • Shortlisted candidates shall be called for counseling sessions.
  • City College of Pharmacy admission shall be completed by submission of required documents and payment of fees.

Selection will clearly depend on the respective entrance examination performance (say JEECUP for D.Pharma and UPSEE for B.Pharma) followed by a consideration of the individual's academic credentials and, for D.Pharma, an interview. Acceptance thereafter is on verification of documentation and has to meet all the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the college and its regulators. City College of Pharmacy D.Pharma Admission Process

City College of Pharmacy offers a Diploma in Pharmacy course of duration two years with a total intake of 60 seats. However, City College of Pharmacy admission to this programme is purely based on performance by the candidates at JEECUP followed by Class XII scores and an interview. The JEECUP examination generally takes place with subjects which are relevant to a pharmacy education.

City College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process

B.Pharma programme also admits 60 students. City College of Pharmacy admission into this four years programme is done through the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE). Only candidates aspiring for City College of Pharmacy admission into B.Pharma will take the UPSEE, which tests the candidate's knowledge of subjects very relevant to the pharmaceutical studies.
