CNR Arts and Science College, Chittoor and is an affiliated college at Piler of Andhra Pradesh. CNR Arts and Science College provides undergraduates and postgraduates programs that meet various academic interests and career aspirations. The admission process at CNR Arts and Science College is sure to merit the selection of deserving candidates for various undergraduate programs in different courses. For postgraduate admissions, mainly for the M.Com course, there is a different procedure. 

Usually, these students need to qualify in the entrance exams conducted by the universities under PG-CET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test). It should be noted that the college generally admits students on the basis of merit and entrance exams. However, some courses offer direct entry through management quota provisions.

Application Process

In order to be admitted to CNR Arts and Science College, Chittoor proper admission process is different according to courses:

1. Undergraduate Programs (B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA Hons): Available either in the college office or downloaded online from official website for application forms. 

• Applicants are to fill out the form providing accurate personal and academic details.
• Attach all necessary documents, including:
• 10th and 12th mark sheets 
• Transfer Certificate Conduct 
• Certificate Caste Certificate (where applicable) 
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Submit a duly completed application form along with other documents to the college office before the specified date. 
• Pay the application fee as per the stipulations of the college.

2. For M.Com Program:

• Apply for the PG-CET conducted by the university.
• Take the PG-CET on due date.
• If passed, undergo the counseling organized by the university.
• In case seat allotment: present at CNR Arts and Science College for document verification and remaining admission formalities.
• For management quota:
• Go straight to the college admission office.
• Fill the application form and submit it together with other documents.
• Complete other exercises as per the management of the college.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Com and B.Com with Computer Applications: The modes of entry into the courses are merit-based. Students who have completed their 10+2 in commerce or equivalent qualification are eligible to apply. Selection here is usually based on marks in the qualifying exam.

B.Sc (Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science / Botany, Zoology and Chemistry): These programs in Science are also on the basis of merit. Admission is open to candidates who have completed their qualifying 10+2 with Science subjects. The college takes into consideration marks scored in specified subjects for admission.

BBA: This program has also merit-based admissions which shall consider students' marks in 10+2. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) can apply for this program.

BCA Hons: Similarly, students are admitted into this merit-based admission course. Generally, students would have finished their 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject to seek admission into this course. 

M.Com: Admission to the M.Com course is more structured in that students have to qualify in the university-level PG-CET examination. Thereafter, such students are allotted seats by counseling within a university. Admission would also be sought through the management quota.
