College of Engineering, Perumon was established in the year 2000 by the Government of Kerala. It is under the aegis of the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE). The institute is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. College of Engineering, Perumon offers courses in the stream of Engineering and Technology. The course offered is Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), which is an undergraduate-level degree programme.
The College of Engineering, Perumon invites yearly admission in B.Tech courses which are conducted as per the Kerala state government rules.Admission to the College of Engineering Perumon is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the engineering colleges of Kerala, conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala.
The applicant has to first appear for the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) which is accepted by the College of Engineering, Perumon and then participate in the KEAM counselling rounds for B.Tech courses. The aspirants have to provide choice filling in the counselling rounds and the applicant will be allotted a seat according to merit and choice filling preference.
College of Engineering, Perumon provides various infrastructure facilities such as hostel accommodation for students, a college library, classrooms, lecture halls and other such facilities, provided for the convenience of students. The college also has an active placement department, which oversees the placement activities for the college.
