College of Innovative Management and Science, Lucknow, which itself stands as one of the renowned colleges, offers a variety of undergraduate as well as diploma programs in management and science. Admission is based on merit, ensuring the most deserving candidates in the programs offered at CIMS. Renowned CIMS is doing its best to provide quality education in a modern learning environment.
CIMS admission procedure is fair and transparent. Most of the undergraduate courses offer admission based on the merit of marks obtained at the 12th standard (Intermediate Level). Overall percentage across the relevant subjects is taken into consideration in assessing the student. Some programs, besides considering academic performance, may require students to attend a presentation or an interview to showcase their skills and aptitude.
Eligibility criteria usually involve successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board for admission into programs at CIMS, though specific subject requirements vary from course to course. Commerce-related programs, for example, require students to study relevant subjects in their 12th standard.
Application Process
The most followed application process that CIMS programs go through includes:
1. Process opening in the official CIMS site followed by admissions.

6. Development of B.Ed by applying and attending UP JEE B.Ed entrance test.
7. Some shortlisted candidates may be called for personal interviews or presentations, depending on the program.
8. The final selection will be based upon the student's performance in academics, the entrance test conducted (if applicable), then the interview/presentations.
9. Such selected candidates will be informed and will have to complete the admission process, paying the required fees along with the original documents for verification.
Admission Process for Degrees
B.Com and B.Com (Honours): The admissions to these two programs rely on the merit derived from the marks gained in the 12th standard. The total number of seats allocated for B.Com is 140, while those for B.Com (Honours) are 60. The evaluation is, again, based on the overall percentage of relevant subjects. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
BBA: The admission pattern for this course opens 180 seats for the BBA program-it is much similar to B.Com admission criterion but specific to the management discipline. For measuring merit, 12th standard marks would suffice while some of the shortlisted candidates are expected to sit for an interview or a presentation.
BCA: The BCA program has 120 seats for entry, and the admission process is based on the 'marks secured in the 12th standard'. Admission also includes personal interviewing for candidates' assessment on his/her aptitude in applying computer principles.
B.Ed- The admission process that is being used for the B.Ed program has 100 students. The mode of selection through which admission is granted is done via the UP JEE B.Ed entrance examination. These are type exams which fall in line with the requirements set at the level of state education. Such candidates are then qualified by this entrance examination for purposes of selection in the admission process
D.El.Ed: D.El.Ed has a seating capacity of 100 and admission into this program is merit based. Admissions here can also be granted without an entrance test for some candidates, but qualification in the examination remains the major criterion for selection.
