The CP Ramaswami Aiyar Institute of Indological Research, Chennai, is an eminent organisation which is totally involved in studying the Indian culture, History and philosophy. This affiliated college was established in the year of 1966 and this college is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu – one of the most colorful city in India. The institute provides four doctoral programmes, full-time and part-time Ph.D. courses in Historical studies and Environmental studies. The Library has Sanskrit and Tamil Books, rare and old Publications on Indian Culture and tradition and modern books also are available with them. Besides, the faculty offers accommodation within a library, information technologies, departmental practical facilities and sports complex to students.

CP Ramaswami Aiyar Institute of Indological Research and Endowment currently provides a total of four distinct courses, all of which are doctoral programmes. Among these are two full time Ph.D. programmes in Historical Studies and Environmental Studies, and parallel part time programmes.
