Classroom are good in condition but need to update , also there is one ground for sport that is mostly busy apart from that there is water , sanitation good in condition also there is cafeteria just near the main gate

Faculty are good , regular classes conducted but there is also attendence criteria to meet 70 percent to appear in semester examination , also there is library there that you can issue books on weekly basis

Only several people got opportunities for placement department like ugdca , commerce got some placement other department still struggling to place their student however you will get proper time t prepare for other exam as well

it need to improve in several areas like hygiene , also washroom should get more clean, it has a separate playground but smaller in area one good thing it is greenery in ambience so in summer you will little cooler as compared to outside

only fewer will get the placement mostly from ugdca department and some from commerce department , career guidance is there for external opportunities findings but only for limited person so its to find the job opportunities from outside

I pursued masters in political Science from dav pg college bhu.The campus is small but neat and well managed with a great library, working Wifi in labs and decent clasrooms.There's a girls hostel but no boys hostel so most boys stay in PG's nearby.

The faculty is experienced and subject strong especially in political theory and Indian Politics. Classes are usually lecture based ,but some teachers encourage discussion and debates.The curriculum is BHU aligned and theory heavy ,good for UPSC.

Placement are almost nil for political science students,most students prepare for higher studies or competitive exams. A few companies visit,but offers are rare for arts students. There's a placement cell ,but it isn't much help of course,much active for technical subjects.

The fees is very low less than 10000 per year and considering the academic quality and BHU brand , it's definitely value for money. You don't get campus placements but the education justifies the cost.

Campus life is quite with some debate societies.NSS/NSC and occasional seminars or cultural events .The peer group is mostly focused and grounded,and the crowd is from all across eastern India. Security is good ,and the overall vibe supports self study and discipline.

DAV post graduate college which is coming under Banaras Hindu University and also provides the degree of central University of Banaras having a beautiful infrastructure and also all the necessary facilities that is important for students are available within campus.

I have completed my doctorate degree in psychology and my guide who is assigned ne within my PhD time period was adorable and helped me all the time .I qualified for jrf junior research fellowship and afterthat I got admission in this college.

Placements in our college are completely low when compared to other colleges. College management is tried to get the companies to college. Our college is in the last position in placements. About 70% of the students from our course get placed. Top companies do not visit our college to recruit students from the last 2 years.

Good Central University for economically weaker students.
