24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be an Indian. Outside Maharashtra Students (OMS) are also eligible for admission. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her domicile/ nationality.
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution that the Indian Nursing Council recognizes.
- Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience before or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
- A 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
- Deputed candidates should apply through their authority.
Admission Details
- Admissions to the M.Sc. Nursing courses are done based on Merit and at the institute level. Desiring candidates should apply in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered for admission.
- The candidates are required to submit all relevant documents in original at the time of admission.
- An affidavit in respect of anti-ragging is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
- Admissions are provisional and are subject to the grant of Enrollment and Eligibility by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
