24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Psychiatric Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be an Indian. Outside Maharashtra Students (OMS) are also eligible for admission. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her domicile/ nationality.
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should have undergone a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution that Indian Nursing Council recognizes.
- Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
- 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
- Deputed candidates should apply through their authority.
Admission Details
- Admissions to the M.Sc. Nursing courses are done on the basis of Merit and at the institute level. Desiring candidates should apply in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered for admission.
- The candidates are required to submit all relevant documents in original at the time of admission.
- An affidavit in respect of anti-ragging is mandatory to be submitted at the time of admission.
- Admissions are provisional and are subject to a grant of Enrollment and Eligibility by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
