The College of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry discipline at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, pharmacology, and various other biological specialties, where they are involved with the design, chemical synthesis, and development for the market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules (drugs). The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab is meant for testing and identification of impurities; synthesis and purification of chemical compounds; identification of medicinally active compounds; and analysis of biological samples like urine, blood, etc. The research interests of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry are focused on many targets. One of the major aspects is the design, synthesis, and investigation of the mechanism of action, as well as the physicochemical properties of designed biologically active compounds.

The college has on-campus accommodation for students. Separate hostels for girls are available on the campus. The hostels are well equipped, and rooms are furnished with single/double/triple/quadruple occupancy and Internet connectivity. Rooms are furnished with beds, mattresses, study tables, and wardrobes. Mess functions under the control of students on a cooperative basis.

The College Medical Officer also dispenses medicines free of cost for common ailments. In addition, the Institute provides a 24-hour ambulance service in association with Dayanand Nursing Home located at Begum Bridge (The heart of the town) to cope with any medical emergency. In cases of emergency, MITians are referred to Subharti Medical College and the hospital located close to the campus.

The College has its fleet of buses that ply on several routes across Meerut and its neighboring areas, including Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, and Delhi, serving both students and staff. Bus facilities are also available to students living in hostels to visit the city. Students are charged on a profit-no-loss basis.

The college has Department of Pharmacy MIT (DPMIT) has over 60 Corei5 / Corei3/ Core 2 Dual computers arranged in two separate labs i.e. Computer lab and language lab for students

The college also provides good classrooms for all students.
