Dimoria College, Kamrup Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has Hostel facilities for girls. There are two hostels for girls. Hostel seats are allotted strictly on a merit basis. Students can apply for hostel seats after being admitted to the college.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College Library is Constructed with a state of the Art design and is situated in a very calm location. It remains open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Students may borrow books from the library with a library card. Books can be photocopied in the library itself. The Central Library has a collection of more than 18,000 books. Moreover, there are more than 12,000 books available in different departmental libraries. A good number of national and international Magazines, Periodicals, Journals, and newspapers are subscribed to by the library, which also has a rare reference book collection. The Library is automated by the book bank software by Pacific Technologies.

The college has got a large playground, Baskets Ball court and facilities and equipment for different sports like Cricket, football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Table tennis and so on.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College Canteen for students, teachers, and non-teaching staff is available in the college and remains open during working hours.

The College has a multipurpose Auditorium Complex with facilities for large meetings, cultural programs, and indoor sports activities.

The college has state-of-the-art Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment is made available to various departments. The Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, has provided them with various new equipment and devices like GPS and funded a new Air-conditioned Computer Lab. This is being jointly utilized by the Department of Environment Management and Computer Science.
