MD Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Dr DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai Offline Course

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy is a three-year full-time postgraduate course, offered by Dr DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai, and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC).

This is a 3 year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program includes rotational postings in the Departments of Dermatology, Surgery, General Medicine, Rheumatology and Dermatopathology.

The student benefits from exposure to a variety of Dermatology cases in our General Dermatology Out Patient Department and ward. In addition to this the student receives specialised training in our Dermatology Speciality Clinics of Bullous Disease, Cosmetic Dermatology, Vitiligo and Venereal Disease.

The practical training imparted, enables our residents to be responsible for quality patient care under the supervision of excellent and knowledgeable faculty. It is supported by a teaching program that involves lectures, journal clubs and case discussions.

The experience gained by the student facilitates the development of exceptional clinical skills and a sound judgement in the practice of Dermatology and all its sub-specialities.
