MD General Medicine at Dr DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai Offline Course

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in General Medicine is a three-year full-time postgraduate course, offered by Dr DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai, and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC).

This is a 3 year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program includes rotational postings in the Departments of General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, TB and Chest Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Radiology. The student also attends the various Speciality Clinics that come under the Umbrella of the Department of Medicine, namely Diabetology, Cardiology, Neurology, Rheumatology and Infectious Disease. The student is involved in active patient care under expert supervision in the Out Patient Departments, Casualty, wards and Intensive Care Units.

Our state of art Simulation Laboratory is used to hone the development of practical and clinical skills in the candidate.

This extensive practical exposure is backed with a sound grounding in theory by conducting lectures, case discussions , seminars and journal clubs.

The experience gained by the student facilitates the development of excellent clinical and practical skills, with emphasis on holistic care. The student is trained to be an ethical practitioner of Medicine and all its sub-specialties.
