The Library's mission is to make its resources available and useful to the DSSC Students and Staff Members and to sustain and preserve the collection of knowledge and creativity for future generations. The library is keen to support the educational and research program in the college by maximizing access to information. This rich and valuable collection has some useful reference materials and subject-related national & international journals.

To avoid the inconvenience caused to the students in daily traveling to and from the college, particularly to those residing at faraway places from the college, the construction to build a separate hostel for boys on the campus has been started. To provide recreation to the students residing on the campus, trustees have incorporated sports facilities such as football and cricket grounds. Facilities of indoor games will also be provided to the students by individual colleges situated within the campus.
