Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), started in 1981, is an autonomous institution situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. Established in 1981, ESCI is located on a large area of approximately 70 acres of land in Gachibowli and is one of premier B-schools of India. It is affiliated with the All India Council for Techni-cal Education (AICTE). In PGDM, ESCI has three courses of Post Graduate Diploma in Management and the total enrolment is 240 students. Since its establishment, the institute has employed a total of 9 dedicated faculty and maintains an idea; student teacher ratio, thus making sure that there is maximum interaction between both parties.

ESCI boasts in availing hi-tech equipment in order to make sure that the learning is improved among its learners. The campus has spacious air conditioned class rooms with provision for standby power supply of sustained relevance during power outages to assure continuous sessions. The Information Centre which undertakes the role of accomplishing the requirements of institution as a library holds more than 8,500 books and reports and subscribe over one hundred periodicals and journals including international ones. To assure effective research, students use these online databases including JGATE and EBSCO. It also has adequately equipped laboratories in the college for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in order to making sure that the students learn both the theoretical and practical parts of the course offered to the students.

Out of the three full-time PGDM programmes that the institute extends, each programme takes two years of study. Such programmes include PGDM, PGDM in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management, and PGDM in Infrastructure Management.

Admission into most programmes at ESCI can be described as rigorous and selective. The institute recognises several standard national level management entrance tests conducted namely CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA and CMAT. Other technical qualification include scores on management aptitude tests that are obtained at the state level such as TS ICET.
