GKCIET Malda Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The institute offers a separate hostel for boys inside the campus. The construction work of hostel accommodation was completed in June of 2020. They offer more than 500 rooms for student accommodation. Their hostels will be equipped with WIFI connections and air condition as per requirement.

The institute has a medical officer with an M.B.B.S. degree who is appointed for medical service in the institute. They also have MoU with Moulik Nursing Home located nearby to assist and support the medical needs of students and staff 24/7. This is especially helpful for hostellers and guest visitors at the institute.

The library was established along with the institute in 2010 to meet the academic and research needs of teachers, research scholars, and students. The institute’s central library provides books, journals as well as current information on various topics. They offer thousands of books and publications from around the world including global research and academic journals. It has built up a rich collection of various branches of Engineering, Science, Arts, and Management. Students and staff can refer to the library for their projects and research purposes.

Both outdoor and indoor sports facilities are provided by the institute for recreational purposes. Tennis court, basketball court, carrom, chess, badminton court, and much more are offered to students by the institute. Gym facilities are also provided to keep the health and fitness of students intact. Students can spend time playing or working out apart from academic studies.

They provide a lab for each department as per requirements with the latest technology and equipment which any experiment might need. This facility was created based on the vision to help and enhance the skills and practical knowledge of their students.

The Institute is constructing a Girls Hostel inside the campus. Construction work is going on in full swing and is expected to be completed. The Hostel will have  G+3 Girls Hostel will also be accommodating around 260 students.

The institute provides a bus facility from Malda Town from two pick-up points — Rathbari and Arabinda Park (Archana Chatrabas). Two buses start at 8:10 am and 8:00 am respectively for the up journey towards College and reach college at around 8:40 am. The buses are 50 capacities each. The buses start their downward journey with the students at 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm respectively.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
