The Library of Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya (G.I.H.S.M) has a well-defined policy for acquisition, usage and disposal of the learning resources supported by a faculty-led team popularly known as Library Coordination Committee, which is empowered to take most of the Library related decisions. The library accepts suggestions from all its stakeholders and decisions are taken on them if found beneficial to the Library services and users..

The College has made available over 60 personal computers equipped with the latest software and connected to the latest accessories and services, and other gadgets. The Labs are equipped with the latest software, which includes different Language Compilers, Operating Systems, Visual Studios, and packages for academic and administrative Purposes. The Labs are fully air conditioned with Wi-Fi internet facility having bandwidth more than 35Mbps. The Higher bandwidth facilitates students for the webinars/NPTEL Courses, and time to time, the Prime Minister's Address to students about various issues. G.I.H.S.M is equipped with high-end servers and workstations. All the resources at the College are upgraded frequently to ensure that students are finely tuned to current trends in the World of technical advancements. Every student gets at least 15 hours per week for hands-on computing experience as part of a guided learning session under the supervision of an expert faculty member.

The College has nicely designed seminar halls & Conference rooms which are fully air-conditioned. These are equipped with the latest modern audio-video technological facilities which give our young generation a glimpse of the professional world. Large assemblies’ functions, extension lectures, rehearsals, and presentations of various curricular activities are organized. AUDITORIUM – “GOELPLEX” The newly built auditorium of our Institute is fitted with high quality modern furniture, latest equipment like PA system, multimedia LCD, Wi-Fi Internet facility, Audio-Visual aids etc.

The College has Separate Ultra Modern Hostels for Boys and Girls available on the campus. All Rooms are spacious, well ventilated, illuminated, air-cooled & well furnished. All 2 Seater & 3 Seater rooms have traditional common bathrooms with hot water facility. Residential Facility is to be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, or otherwise as decided by the Institute. The location of the Residential Facility, floor, and room pattern are subject to change from time to time. Healthy food is prepared under the supervision of the administrative staff. Students keep themselves fit by playing games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, etc. Well Equipped Gymnasium is also available in the campus. 24 X 7 power backup and Wi-Fi internet connectivity supplements the hostel life. The whole campus is under CCTV surveillance and an active team of Security Staff. Hostel and Mess charges include daily three meals, Wi-Fi internet, 24 X 7 power backup, Gymnasium and other hostel amenities.

The College has a tie-up with Nationalized Banks. This allows the opening and operation of accounts for every student through a cheque book or debit cards. The bank is operating its ATM and with an extension counter at the campus. The Bank of Baroda has a fully fledged bank with core banking network, ATM and internet banking facility within the campus is within the campus of Goel Group of Institutions. It offers all types of banking services to the staff and students. Moreover, we have two ATMs of Tata (Intex) & Bank of Baroda at our main Entrance gate.

The College cafeteria provides healthy and high-quality meals like breakfast and lunch to our students during college hours.

• A workshop provides a way to create an intensive educational experience in a short amount of time, when the time for a more comprehensive effort may not be available. A workshop can introduce a new concept, spurring participants to investigate it further on their own, or can demonstrate and encourage the practice of actual methods.
• It’s a great way to teach hands-on skills because it offers participants a chance to try out new methods and fail in a safe situation. Failure is often the best teacher, and failure in this instance doesn’t carry a cost. At the same time, feedback, from both the presenter and peers in the group, helps a participant understand what she can do to avoid failure in a real situation.
• A workshop is a way for someone to pass on to colleagues ideas and methods that he has developed or finds important. Teaching a graduate course may not be possible, but he may be able to reach large numbers of people by conducting workshops in various situations.
• Especially for people who work together, a workshop can help to create a sense of community or common purpose among its participants.
