Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, known as GRIET, is located in Hyderabad and was established in 1997. GRIET was established by Dr G Gangaraju with the support of Gokaraju Rangaraju Educational Society. The name of the college has been kept on this basis only. Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
GRIET Hyderabad is permanently affiliated to and autonomous under JNTUH, Hyderabad. GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked within the band of 101-150 among the Engineering colleges. GRIET offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. There are nine undergraduate programmes in the field of B.Tech and nine postgraduate programmes which are in the field of M.Tech.
The admissions to the courses at GRIET Hyderabad are done based on the relevant TS EAMCET/GATE/TS PGCET entrance examinations. GRIET Hyderabad has a placement cell that imparts soft skill training and helps in placing the students in various organisations.

College Infrastructure
The college has excellent infrastructure, facilities and equipments with latest technology. There are 8 computer labs with more than 60 computer systems in each of them. There is also a big library that includes all the necessary space and books to study.

College Infrastructure
Every classroom has projectors and good sitting system. they provided us a big Library and each and every book was avaliable there there are 4 canteens In campus with food of very good quality. College campus has a playground for Cricket. football etc. College also has an amphitheater for cultural functions.

College Infrastructure
It has almost all necessary facilities such as ground , sports complex , library ,computer and electronics laboratories etc.Classrooms are big and have black board for classes and fans for air,but the fans are not working properly.

In these three options I suggest you to go for CSE in GRIET. Even though CBIT and JNTU are top colleges, compromising branch for them are not worth it. If you are getting IT in these two colleges then you could go for it. Because, IT has better placements than EEE and ECE. CSE in GRIET too is very great. Many students from CSE get placements above 20 lakhs in this college. But, if you compromise your branch and go for ECE OR EEE in CBIT or JNTUH you wont have good placements that you get if you do CSE in GRIET.

Hope you are doing fine! As per your rank it seems difficult for you to get a seat in GRIET. in previous year (2021) the final rank for bcb catagory was 47246 (mechanical engineering) in GRIET. However your chances are quite good for other decent colleges, you can check some of the colleges where your rank matches with cutoff trends with below provided link -
