Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State. The admission pattern to B. Tech is as follows: The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

Admission Details

70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAMCET.
30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.

College Infrastructure

Total college is well built. The classrooms are wide, well-lit, and equipped with projectors to make lessons easier to follow. The labs are maintained properly, and students get access to the latest tools, especially in CSE, ECE, and Mechanical departments. The library is a quiet and peaceful place with thousands of books, journals, and digital materials. Many students spend hours here during exams.
