MA English - Batch of 2025-01-01
Academics
English faculty is kind, knowledgeable, explains theory in a very unique way. British to modern lit very nicely syllabus is very good theory based and there are regular internal needs self study for research for teachers and serious share notes and guides well always.
College Infra
Heritage building near Charminar looks very grand. PG rooms are spacious and airy with good ventilation. So you will not feel like you have been trapped inside any hostel or something like that in the library is very decent and the English collection is also very good washrooms need work little bit, but overall it’s good.
Campus Life
campus life is simple, not very grand English department, hold fest, debate seminar. Special crowd is mixed. Seniors are very helpful. Old city location means tasty Chaan biryani nearby and if you want peaceful Heritage College with focus on studies, you will enjoy a lot there.
Placements
for any English placements are average like most government college few offers in content, school teaching, ed Tech via OU cell. Major majority go for net, set, PhD, teaching jobs. There are no big packages and guidance for competitive exam is more helpful here.
Value For Money
Super low being government college, so value for money is excellent under very money. There is a experience guilty in life, best for students, wanting affordable English and preparing for net side-by-side without financial pressure.
