Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The Bachelor of Arts program at Government College, Jodhpur has 240 seats. Admission is strictly on the merit of the 12th standard result. Candidates have to have passed their higher secondary school examination in arts subjects to be able to apply.

B.Com: The college has 80 seats allocated for the Bachelor of Commerce program. A candidate can be considered for admission on merit in the qualifying examination if he/she has passed 12th standard in commerce subjects.

B.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics): The program has a seating capacity of 70 students, requiring students to have studied 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subjects. The program admits students on the merit of these subject scores.

B.Sc (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry): The second science stream offering 70 seats for students in this program should have studied Biology and Chemistry in 12th standard. The merit list will be made on the score in those subjects.

M.A. History: The college offers 60 seats for History and for postgraduate studies. The eligible candidate is one who has a bachelor's degree with History as one subject. Admission is based on merit obtained in the qualifying degree.

M.Sc Chemistry: The college offers 40 seats for M.Sc in Chemistry. Eligibility requires candidates to have a B.Sc degree with Chemistry as a major subject. Admission is granted on the merit of the results of the bachelor's degree.
