Greetings Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. I see that you have scored 213 marks in your neet examination. I'm sorry to tell that with the marks scored it is not possible for you to get a government seat for MBBS even if you belong to st category. There could be chances for you to get a government for alternate courses like BAMS, BHMS etc.

BAMS is an Ayurveda traditional healing art based undergraduate medical programme in India. BAMS course provides complete knowledge about 'Ashtanga Ayurveda' along with scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training.

BHMS or Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery(BHMS) is an academic degree course at the bachelor’s level, covering knowledge regarding the homeopathic medical system. The duration of this course generally varies from 4 to 5 years, and also bears internship facilities of 1 year.

Hi

NIOS( National institute of open schooling) is government approved institution for students.

For eligibility in NEET, student must have an aggregate of 50 percent in PCB for general category and 40 percent aggregate for SC/ST category.

In Tamilnadu, there has been news to remove NIOS students from NEET but there is no confirm news. These students will definitely get a chance to be be able to get admission in any medical college of their respective state.

So yes, if you get enough marks for government medical college in Tamilnadu, you will get your desired college.

Best of luck

Dear aspirant ,

As you have secured 16k in eamcet so let me tell you that whether you would get the full reimbursement or not depends on the cut offs which further depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

But if I had to say on a general basis it is quite possible that you would be eligible for full reimbursement.

Dear applicant out of the College options chosen by you, both the colleges are wise considering their academics. But when it comes to D Y Patil Akurdi Institute the Placement scenario after COVID is poor. Whereas Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad has impressive placements of Computer Science Engineering branch, not only that this Institute has maintained reputed position as per faculty records and Lab maintenance. You will get sophisticated facilities, starting package of placement you can expect as 5-6 LPA.

Good luck!!

Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well

The cutoff percentile for Neet exam is
Ur--------> 50%
Sc/St/ Obc ---------> 40%
Ur-pwd-------------> 45%

So you have qualified the exam for sure.
But for getting any government medical college you need a score of atleast 400+ for Mbbs.
For Bds you need a score of 300+
For Bams 250+
For Bhms ---> 200+

So yes you have chances to get admission in Bams or Bhms government college.

According to last year's cutoff you can get the following college:-
  • Government ayurvedic college, Bangalore
  • Government ayurvedic college, Banda
  • Government ayurvedic college, Burhanpur

Hello aspirant,

The distribution of seats for medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS etc for both government and private institutions are done on the basis of All India rank and not on category rank. So you must provide us with category rank for better prediction of suitable colleges.

But according to my analysis regarding your category rank, your score is very low therefore having low probability of getting government college for BDS all over India. However remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. Also you can get admission in private dental colleges and deemed universities.

For more college options at your score and rank you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too which provides you elaborate information regarding the suitable colleges:

Hi,

With the score of 150 marks for sc category getting a seat in government medical college is almost nil and also the chances of private medical colleges through government quota is not possible. So you may try for private colleges for BHMS which might be quite possible. For more information refer to https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Hello Aspirant,

If you have been admitted to a college earlier and want admission in another college now then you don't need to worry about it.

You can apply for TC from that college. Your SLC will be canceled and a new College Leaving Certificate will be generated by the college. The migration certificate will be returned to you.

I hope it helps.

Thank you
