Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well. It is difficult to get government seat in 266 marks. Your score should be above 480 to get government seat for mbbs in state quota and above 520 to get government seat in AIQ. This cutoff is in accordance with the last year cutoff. Although getting government seat depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of exam, AIQ rank, category, region, state, state rank, etc. Or else you can try for semi government seat or private seat.

Hello Aspirant. You mentioned  your AIR in NEET PG is 58000 and you belong to OBC category.

Well, based on your performance in NEET PG 2021and previous years' cutoff marks, you have low chance to get admission to MD in Pathology at top-rated Public/Government medical colleges as your rank is not up to the mark. However, if the seats are available till the terminal rounds, you may get chance to secure a seat for MD Pathology at DMIMSU - Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (2019 Cutoff - 58504).

Apart from this, you have good chance to opt for MD Pathology at various Private medical colleges in India such as:

  1. KIMS - Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Secunderabad (2019 Cutoff - 61134)
  2. Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai (2018 Cutoff - 58015)
  3. MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad (2019 Cutoff - 64885)
  4. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (PG Diploma in Clinical Pathology, 2018 Cutoff - 66422 in Round 1)
  5. Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai (2019 Cutoff - 67554 in Round 1)

  7. Santosh Medical College And Hospital, Ghaziabad (2019 Cutoff - 69659)

Hi,

Cut off for admissions to colleges vary every year depending on so many factors such a s number of candidates appeared and qualified on NEET, number of seats available, category of candidates and so on. You haven't specified your category  so an accurate prediction is not possible. Based on previous year data you have chances in state quota seats of Maharashtra if you belongs to SC category. For other categories it is tough to get a seat in MBBS as well as BDS admission in State quota seats. For a general category student it is tough even in private medical colleges. Please provide your category so that we can help you further. You can also check the chances in colleges using college predictor given below

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

All the best.

Hello Aspirant,

As you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Maharashtra according to your profile and category as general.

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you will get seat in any semi government college or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But if we go through previous years NEET cut-off trends in Maharashtra then there are almost no chances for you to get seat in any of the semi government colleges of Maharashtra, but although you can try for admission to some private colleges or Deemed universities of other state through Management quota or direct admission provided that you must have appeared in counselling and does not got the seat.

You can check the previous years cut-offs through the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-
