GDCR Degree-wise Admission Process

Government Degree College, Rudraprayag Admission Process

Government Degree College, Rudraprayag, is one of the premier institutions for learning in Uttarakhand, India. It is a co-educational college with over a decade and a half of quality education. GDCR is affiliated to a university and offers undergraduate programmes across different streams. GDCR admission is organised with fairness and transparency. GDCR Application Process

GDCR Eligibility Process

The CUET UG exam for the next academic session shall be conducted from May 2025 to May 2025. This exam is conducted online, and students aspiring to the relevant courses are expected to appear for this exam for consideration into GDCR. The eligibility requirements need to be checked with GDCR according to the course of study chosen. Generally, students should have completed their school education from a recognised board up to the secondary standard to be eligible for the undergraduate programme. However, some courses specify that certain science subjects must be taken for admission to some of their programmes, particularly B.Sc.

GDCR Degree-wise Admission Process

Government Degree College, Rudraprayag, provides a total of six undergraduate courses, all full-time programmes. Students can check the course details mentioned below

GDCR BA Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts): The GDCR has BA courses that will enroll 70 students. It has not been ascertained that applicants for admission into the BA classes will require CUET UG scores, but they should check the college website.
BA Tourism Management: This programme has a capacity of 60 seats. The details related to the admission process should be verified by checking on the college website, which might have certain particular requirements in relation to the tourism field.

GDCR B.Sc Admission Process

B.Sc. Horticulture Hons: This course is specialised, and it has an intake capacity of 60 seats. Admissions are based on CUET UG scores. Candidates from science backgrounds in 10+2 are eligible to apply.
B.Sc. Mathematics Group and B.Sc. Biology Group: Each of the two programmes has a capacity of 60 seats. In general, admission is done based on 10+2 marks in the relevant subjects, but details will be available from the college.

GDCR BBA Admission Process

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): This programme, which has only 30 seats, shall make its admission process reliant on CUET UG scores. Eligibility shall be determined based on qualifications in any stream in 10+2.

GDCR BCA Admission Process

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): This programme accommodates 30 students. GDCR admission does not always consider the CUET UG scores, but candidates are advised to check the specific admission criteria as published by the college.
