36 MonthsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for 1st Year Diploma in Engineering:
- Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha.
- For first-semester diploma courses in engineering except mining and drilling, the minimum age limit is 14 years.
- No upper age limit will be applicable for any course.
Eligibility for (Lateral Admission for eligible branches only) Diploma in Engineering:
- Pass the +2 Science Examination from CHSE, Odisha, or its equivalent examination with PCM/ +2 Vocational (2-year course) in any Engineering Trade/2-year ITI in Engineering Trade/COE Trade, with a pass in the HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha.
- The minimum age limit is 14 years, required for this course.
- No upper age limit is prescribed for this course.
