To take admission in the Diploma programme through Lateral Entry (Lateral Admission for Eligible Branches Only) at Government Polytechnic, Balasore, the candidates must have passed 10+2 level examinations in Science Stream from CHSE, Odisha or must have passed its equivalent examination with PCM/10+2 Vocational (2 year course) in any Engineering Trades/2 years ITI in Engineering Trades/COE Trade with pass in the HSC level examination conducted by the BSE, Odisha/Class 10th Examination which is declared equivalent by the BSE, Odisha and candidates should have a minimum age of 14 years.
