36 MonthsA Diploma in Civil Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum eligibility to appear for LEET is ITI ( 2 years in Engg. Trade) or 10+2 vocational from the government./state govt. recognized school.
Admission into the second year of diploma-level courses under the lateral entry scheme is made based on the merit of LEET (lateral entry entrance test) or 10+2 science after exhausting the merit of LEET.
Admission Details
Candidates interested in taking admission in the first year of the 3-year diploma in Engineering/Technology courses in the Government. Polytechnics are required to take PAT (Polytechnic admission test), which is being conducted by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala Distt. Kangra H.P. The selection for admission to different courses is being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, H.P., Sundernagar, through centralized counseling based on the merit of PAT.
