JNGEC Sundernagar Placements

The Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College has a separate training and placement cell on campus. The JNGEC Sundernagar placement cell arranges industrial training programmes for the final-year students. Some of them are personality development programmes, industrial visits, expert lectures, aptitude test series, mock group discussions, mock personal interviews, technical interviews, and others.

According to the NIRF 2024, out of 146 undergraduate students, 34 students were placed in the year 2022-23. JNGEC Sundernagar placement is conducted on campus. Infrastructural facilities are also provided for the smooth conduct of the placement process.

Placements was very average. The placement cell tried to help, but the opportunities available were limited, and the process was not very organized and not that great companies that visited college for students to hire.

College always tries to provides us with good placement opportunities as well as internship opportunities. Quality of placements is average in our college. The highest package that students recently got from here was of 9LPA. That was for textile department. There is a training and placement office in our college also which keeps updating us regarding upcoming companies in our college.
