GHEC Bilaspur admissions are granted to candidates by policies and procedures overseen by the Himachal Pradesh State Directorate of Technical Education. Engineering and Architecture is the stream in which the GHEC Bilaspur admissions are offered.
Students are advised to have 10+2/Intermediate /PUC from a recognised board and should appear for the JEE Main or HP-CET exam to get GHEC Bilaspur admissions into the UG course. 3 seats are reserved at GHEC Bilaspur for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS).

Good for academics The professors teach with extra care and provide extra teaching as and whom required. The mid semester and end semester exams are held as scheduled, but the professors also take continuous tests throughout the learning process for their own improvement. The students are made to give presentations which are a part of internal assessments and they have to submit a summer internship project in fifth semester. The professors willfully help the students with there internship opportunities. The university is very disciplined to keep track of the timings of the entry and exit of each and everyone. Besides the education there are transportation, sports and hostel facilities which are available for everyone
College Infra
Newly built college All the teachers here are very much supportive, interactive and are highly qualified. They always support us not only in our study but also mentally. Not only in class time but we also abled to contact our teachers in other time when we needed. Our department often organise seminars and webinars on many interesting topics and also meeting such as parent- teacher meeting, 'Ask the teacher' etc. to be more interactive with us. Every students have a mentor with whom they can discuss their queries and sort out them. There are also placement facilities. University also provides summer internship programme to gain more knowledge and it helps to learn new topics as well. Plenty of clubs are available ranging from robotics to sports ,dance to entrepreneurship. There are also library facilities with good range of knowledge resources, accessible in both online and offline mode. Hostels are also available for both boys and girls .A very good cafeteria and 'Food-Court' are available with good food and clean environment. Medical facilities, pharmacy, ambulance are also

Academics
Teachers are very good and motivating here . Though full faculty is not there means not every teacher is there for every subject but college is hiring good and well qualified teachers for each department so that students do not face problem regarding any subject.
College Infra
According to me college has a good building with many facilities provided in for the students. It is a new college with under construction building , good classrooms , fully equipped labs, good library every thing is provided for students also hostel services of this college are good with clean and hygienic living space as well as good food,
Campus Life
Many facilities are provided in the campus for students , sports facilities also for security purpose cctv cameras are everywhere .
Placements
Students can get placements after completing their 7th and 8th semester but there is no such very good placement has taken place in this college till now as it is a new college so college is working upon this and will get many more good opportunities in the future.
Value For Money
It is worth the value for money for graduating from this college for an engineering degree as we know that many colleges outside charges very high fees for the same courses.

Academics
I completed my B. Tech. from this college and I would say that professors are incredibly well in their subjects . They are always available for the students. Classes are always interactive. I have learned alot from my professors and even from classmates.
College Infra
I would say that the college has a growing infrastructure and working very well upon it on daily basis. Hostels and food everything is very clean and well maintained. The library is good and has alot of natural light.
Campus Life
The campus is at a very beautiful location at a hill top . Many sports and cultural activities are being organized every year for the students . I feel safe and peaceful in the campus. But sometimes during any event campus can be little noisy and crowdy.
Placements
Till now there is decent opportunities for the students but they can perform more better and the training and placement cell is working very hardly on it . And in upcoming years there will be many far better opportunities that will be available for the students in that college.
Value For Money
I was able to complete my graduation with very less amount of fees when the fees structure of this college is compared to other colleges outside . I got my money's worth from this college and many other scholarship opportunities are also provided to many students.
