Sirda Polytechnic, Mandi Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Sirda Polytechnic Mandi is an AICTE and PCI approved institution that provides diploma courses in different fields of engineering. Sirda Polytechnic admission process at Sirda Polytechnic is mainly on the basis of the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT), which is conducted by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Sundernagar, regulates the admission process for all diploma courses provided at the institute.

 The HP PAT entrance examination is the fundamental requirement for taking admission in Sirda Polytechnic for the different diplomas provided. The candidates getting good marks in the HP PAT are eligible to take admission into the institute.

Sirda Polytechnic is offering a total of 9 courses in different branches of engineering and has a total approved intake of 430 seats. Sirda Polytechnic admission system is tailored to identify meritorious students and grant them opportunities to join their preferred courses.

Application process for Sirda Polytechnic is as follows:

• Apply for the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) organised by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.

• Attend the HP PAT exam on the given date (next exam: May 17, 2025).
• After publishing HP PAT results, eligible candidates can apply for Sirda Polytechnic admission through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Sundernagar.
• The process of counseling for seat allotment will be undertaken by the DTE, Sundernagar, on the basis of HP PAT scores and preferred choices of the candidates.
• Candidates granted seats at Sirda Polytechnic should report to the institute for documents verification and payment of fees.
• Formalities of admissions at Sirda Polytechnic, vis., submission of documents and course fee payment, should be done.

• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 60 seats are available for this course. Sirda Polytechnic admission is on the basis of HP PAT organised by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Sirda Polytechnic admission to this course is also on the same basis as Electronics and Communication Engineering diploma with 60 seats available.
• D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy): There are 60 seats in this course. Sirda Polytechnic admission is made through HP PAT, held by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.
• DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology): There are 60 seats for this course available at the institute. Sirda Polytechnic admission procedure details are made as per the general admission process of the institute.
• Diploma in Agriculture Engineering: This course has an intake of 60 seats. Sirda Polytechnic admission process follows the institute's standard procedure.
• Diploma in Automobile Engineering: Offering 40 seats, this programme's admission is based on the HP PAT conducted by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala.
