BUMS at Government Unani Medical College, Chennai Offline Course

i) Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Academic) Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary State Board or its equivalent with the following group of subjects shall be eligible for the 1st year BUMS Course.

Candidates who have passed any other equivalent examination with the same group of subjects as mentioned above shall also be eligible for consideration for admission to the first-year BUMS Course.  It shall be the responsibility of the candidate concerned to obtain the necessary eligibility Certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and submit it before admission to the course.

ii) Candidates who should have studied in URDU Medium up to  X Std OR Should have passed Urdu/ Arabic/Persian as a subject either in X  Std or in Higher Secondary Course.

 OR

Should clear the Urdu Entrance Examination conducted by the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, Chennai. Candidates who have studied the HSC Course with Vocational stream and Pre-University Course are not eligible to apply for this course.
