Apart from, talking about infrastructure facility, crowd gathering or any unwanted topic. Lem'me come to the interesting point that matters a lot- the guidance from your faculty, not in terms of teaching because in any college, student has to taught the syllabus by himself, so the guidance via faculties in terms of living a life with passion, how to live a life with joy even difficulties are bombarding on your face in the way of life, they taught us "Whatever you learn, whether it's scientific, tech-material or any literature, just try to use that knowledge for the welfare of the society in which you are living"..

No college is perfect. But there must be a minimum standard. 1.Fee This college is very good as compared to other private colleges. The fee has been increased but it is still pretty less as compared to any private college (though in our time it was very less as we completed the 4 year course in approx 2.40 lakh including hostel and mess). Hostel and mess is also very cheap (though you may not like the quality of food but every hostel mess in India has the same story) 2.Faculty Every department has 2-3 very good faculty members and 2-3 average faculty. Rest are pathetic. I would say they don't even deserve a B.Tech degree. Overall faculty standard is average. 3.Labs Talking about Labs, labs are pretty good. There are a lot of labs which you would only find in IITs/NITs. But the lab 95 % lab assistants are illiterate jokers having zero knowledge. There are a lot of hi-tech machines but no-one really knows how to operate them. But there are 2-3 lab assistants which have a lot of practical knowledge (even more than most of professors) Like the assistants in basic electrical lab and also electronic lab. The lab assistant in basic electrical lab is so knowledgeable that he is called whenever there is a fault in Pauri grid. 4.Academics In one line it's pathetic. In some departments scoring 90% is not a big deal and in some departments it's even very tough to pass. Quality of teaching is very poor as most of the faculty members are not good enough. 5.Placements In our times the placements were not good. But still better than private colleges. Fake companies don't come for hiring. PSUs like RVNL, BEL have visited campus. Honda is also a frequent recruiter. For CSE students we have seen ABOBE visit the campus with a package of 9 lakhs. Other companies like nucleus soft also comes for them. For average students TCS and Wipro visit the campus. OVERALL PLACEMENT IS NOT SO GOOD. 6.Climate Climate is very very good throughout the year except winters. Winters are very cold. But u'll adjust with time. No issues with this. 7.Connectivity VERY POOR CONNECTIVITY. In our time there was a college bus but now its not there. U have to rely on treckers and buses whose frequency is pretty low. You wont get things u need in that local pauri market. I mean things like Books, materials related to projects etc. 8.Medical Facility Very Very Poor. No medical facility inside college. Even govt hospital in pauri is not good. You will face a lot of trouble in case of emergency. 9.Exposure Poor..... Though extra curricular are activities are organised throughout the year, there is no participation from other college students. College has been in existence since 1989 but the 1st tech-fest was organised in 2013 (that too at a very small one). Absolutely no personality development programs were conducted in our times. Also college administration and faculty were not suportive for these kind of events. 10.STUDENT CROWD POOR.. It is the most important factor for choosing any college. In old times (before 2007) there were very less facilities but still crowd was good as all of them were good rankholders in AIEEE and other entrance exams. So when you look at the alumni base of that time they are really successful people. There are some really big names. In my time also there were good rank holders. Many had qualified IIT-JEE also (but could not get any college due to low rank or any other reason). Even the domicile seats and category seats were occupied by people having good ranks. But now the condition has degraded. College is full of people who don't know what is differentiation and integration. OVERALL I WOULD SAY THAT IF YOU JUST WANT A DEGREE AT LOW COST U CAN CHOOSE GBPEC. OTHERWISE Do some hard work and aim for IITs/NITs and other superior colleges.

Living in this college is like living in an alienated world. Situated in some village of Ghurdauri has the worst possible faculty who doesn't have knowledge of their own subject. Talking about placement mass recruiter is the only hope for most of the students. An institution where ragging "so called interaction" is still persistent. Most of the Seniors are not helpful at all. No industry exposure or anything. You want to waste 4 precious years of your life welcome to this college then. If you're wondering about hostels then is should tell you that they are not good either. Poor food and lacking daily necessities. Old shitty infrastructure not even worth calling a college. They will show you 100% placement record in CSE and ECE(LMAO) but belive me it's because of mass recruiter don't fall in this trap.IMO Instead try some private college or drop 1 year and work hard for next year.

College makes you alienated from the entire world. No company has come here for recruitment .90% students are sitting idle.Faculty is not at all supporting even if you go out for any job fair they will detain you they don't understand the seriousness of the situation . No Medical facilities are provided there so if you are ill then have to travel 140 km to get treated.

My college life is becoming Adventurous, challenging day by day . This college is quite good in terms of faculty, Placements , and many more . It is situated at the top of the world , A pure view of The Great Himalayas can be seen from anywhere inside the campus. Different festival soke Josh (Sports fest), Goonj(cultural fest), Spandan(Technical fest) are conducted by SAC which stands for Student Activity Cell.
