Hind Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow was established in 2009. The HIMS Lucknow college is affiliated with Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST Senior)	1st and 2nd year students of MBBS can apply under the category ‘Senior I’. 3rd and 4th year students can also apply under the ‘Senior II’ category
Vahani Scholarship	The applicant must be a student of class 12; must have faced extremely difficult situations; candidate must have bright potential.
All India Youth Scholarship Entrance Examination (AIYSEE)	Class 12 passed/appearing students are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in medical or engineering examinations can apply.
Swami Dayanand Education Foundation Merit-cum-Means Scholarships	The applicant must be pursuing the course of MBBS, Pharmacy, Engineering, IT or Architecture from a government or private institution in India. The applicant must have taken admission to the desired course after passing a competitive exam conducted by the Central/State board. The annual family income must not exceed ₹ 6 Lakhs. The candidate must have scored at least 85% marks in class 12. The applicant must have scored a Grade Point Average of a minimum of 7.5 in 10 points scale system (for students in their 2nd or 3rd year of graduation programme). The applicant must not be the recipient of any other scholarship/financial assistance from any other source.
