  • Students who have completed their B.Math (Hons.) degree from the Indian Statistical Institute are offered direct admission to the M.Math programme without any selection test and interview. 

  • Other students, including students who have done B.Math (Pass) degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, will have to first meet the eligibility criteria.

  • Eligible candidates will have to fill the online application form that is released on the official website of the university.

  • The applicants have to appear for a written admission test.

  • The admission tests will comprise multiple-choice questions in Mathematics in the first part and short-answer type questions in mathematics in the second part

The eligibility criteria for admission to Master of Science in Quantitative Economics  in Indian Statistical Institute  is that a candidate must have passed have passed 3 year Bachelor's degree in any discipline and must have passed class 12 with Mathematics as a subject. There is no minimum percentage required. You can pursue this course if you have studied Mathematics in Class 12.
