Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering specialization in Cyber Security is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Cyber Space is a domain generated from the interconnection of computers and telecommunication networks around the world. It is used to store, modify, and exchange data via networked and related physical structures globally, regardless of physical geography. India has seen many attacks on its critical installations and the misuse of social media and internet has brought home the threat of cyber-terrorism, which cyber security experts say the country is poorly equipped to handle. A major challenge to Cyber Space is Security.

The Cyber Security program focuses on technology, people, information, and processes to enable assured cyber operations in the context of adversaries. The program is built on a technical foundation of Computing and Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
- 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
- 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates, filled based on merit as per the guidelines of TGCHE, Hyderabad
- In addition to the above, 10% of the seats on convener quota are admitted under EWS category
- In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

Admission Details

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.

College Infrastructure

The college boasts outstanding infrastructure with air-conditioned classrooms, smart boards, and fully equipped advanced laboratories. The library offers an excellent environment with massive digital and physical resources. The entire campus has high-speed Wi-Fi, great sports facilities, clean hostels, and very hygienic food.
