IHM Dehradun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, established the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Dehradun (ISO 9001: 2008 and HACCP Certified) as an autonomous institute through its Grants-In-Aid Scheme. The institute began its first academic session in July 2006 and is currently operated by the Governing Body under the auspices of a State Government Society registration. The Institute has all the necessary labs and classrooms set up to enable students to meet the proficiency requirements for the Degree & Diploma Programmes. The IHM Dehradun facilities include labs, classrooms, guest rooms, a library, and other spaces to help students simulate information, attitudes, and skills. The IHM Dehradun cut-off should be met by the students before applying for the IHM Dehradun admissions. Teachers who are skilled in imparting knowledge in their specialised professions are known as faculties. IHM Dehradun courses include Diploma and B.Sc in food production, hospitality management, bakery and confectionery and in other specialisations. IHM Dehradun admission into the courses is given based on merit in the qualifying examination and NCHM JEE scores. 

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida (formerly PUSA, New Delhi) and Indira Gandhi National Open University jointly offer a three-year B.Sc. degree in hospitality and hotel administration at IHM, Dehradun, the newest hotel management institute in the nation. A range of short-term courses are also available at the institute. Merit and eligible students from the courses are given IHM Dehradun placements.
