Acropolis Technical Campus, Indore with Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research earns respect for pharmaceutical education in Madhya Pradesh. The eligibility criteria for IPER Indore admission vary with respect to the courses. In undergraduate courses like B.Pharma, candidates should complete their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 

Application Process

The admission process for IPER Indore will comprise multiple steps:

1. Announcement of Admission: The institute will announce the commencement of admission on its official website and other media resources.

2. Application Form: Candidates shall fill out the application form available either at the institute's website or collected directly from the admission office.

3. Document Submission: Candidates submit the required documents, which should include alongside the filled application:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Transfer certificate from the last attended institution
  • Migration certificate, wherever applicable
  • Caste certificate for reserved category candidates
  • Recent passport-size photographs

4. Application Fee: Payment shall be made by candidates for the application fee prescribed by the institute.

5. Entrance Examination/Interview: Candidates will appear for the entrance examination/interview as the case may be for the offered programs. For postgraduate programs, either an institutional entrance test would be conducted or scores from national-level pharmacy entrance examinations would be taken into consideration.

6. Merit List: The merit list of selected candidates will be drawn from the academic performance, entrance examination scores (if any), and interview.

7. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Selected candidates are invited for counseling and during their counseling may choose their desired course based on their rank and availability of seats.

8. Secure the Admission by Paying the Fee: Selected candidates on allotment of the course need to pay the fees and submit original documents to get confirmed admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy program has an intake of 100 students in IPER Indore. Academic performance of the student in 10+2 with PCB/PCM subjects is the basis of selection. The course provides enough knowledge across pharmaceutical sciences and prepares students for various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. 

D.Pharma: A two-year program with 60 seats is offered in IPER Indore for this Diploma in Pharmacy. This option is good for students who want a shorter-duration pharmacy program. Admission likely considers 10+2 results in science subjects.

B.Pharma Lateral Entry: A total of 10 seats for lateral entry in B.Pharma are offered by IPER Indore. Such an alternative is usually available solely for diploma holders or candidates having equivalent qualifications willing to enter directly into the second year of B.Pharma.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: The postgraduate course of M. Pharma Pharmaceutics is allotted 15 seats under the advanced pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery systems. Admission criteria mainly base themselves on B. Pharma results of the candidate, along with other possible measures like entrance testing/interviewing.

M.Pharma Pharmacology: This another specialized programs, with its 12 seats devoted to the study of drug action. Admission criteria are the same as for M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: a B.Pharma degree is required, along with entrance examination or interview.
