IMI Kolkata offers admission to the PGDM, EFPM and FPM programmes. International Management Institute Kolkata admissions are offered based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam. Candidates must meet the requisite eligibility criteria of the desired programme to apply for IMI Kolkata admission. International Management Institute admissions are offered in management and business administration. The candidates who want to take admission to PGDM is done based on the marks secured in the entrance exam- CAT/XAT or GMAT and the institute is accepting CMAT and MAT scores only for PGDM batch 2021-23. Later, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the past academics and in the entrance exam. The shortlisted candidates are then called for the final stage of the selection process that is the individual assessment process that includes essay writing and personal interview. The final selection of the candidate is based on entrance exam score + academic profile + WAT score + PI score. IMI Kolkata admission to the FPM programme is done based on candidates’ performance in the entrance exam- CAT/GMAT/GRE or Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by the institute itself. The Research Aptitude Test (RAT) includes logical reasoning, analytical ability and writing ability through descriptive questions. Then shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview round. Final International Management Institute admission is confirmed after verification of all necessary documents and course fee payment.

The IMI Kolkata two-year PGDM programme is the flagship programme of the institute. The PGDM programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). IMI Kolkata programme is equivalent to an M.B.A as per the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a programme that prepares students for jobs in business across all functions. The programme instils a thorough understanding of business basics as well as ethical values. The seat intake of the PGDM programme is 180. The minimum eligibility criteria of the PGDM programme is that the candidates’ must pass a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

The required eligibility criteria of the FPM programme is that the candidate must hold a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in any discipline from a recognised university.

The eligible candidates have to register online for International Management Institute admissions and submit the application form offline.
Candidates have to appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by a personal interview conducted by IMI Kolkata.
Candidates having valid CAT/GMAT/GRE scores can also apply for the FPM programme.
