International Management Institute Kolkata courses include Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Fellowship Programme in Management (FPM). All the courses offered by the institute are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IMI PGDM programme has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and it has MBA equivalence accorded by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and it is the flagship programme of the institute. Fellowship Programme in Management is a fulltime 4-year programme offered at the doctoral level that helps students to pursue a career in research, teaching and consultancy.

IMI Kolkata PGDM specializations are Economics, Finance & Accounting, Strategic Management, Marketing, Information System Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and Operations Management. FPM programme is a fulltime 4-year programme offered and further, it can be extended for another year. Candidates with 50% marks in Class X, XII and Graduation are eligible for IMI Kolkata PGDM admissions. Candidates who have completed their postgraduation with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or graduates with at least 60% marks or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant work experience or candidates having a professional qualification such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate are eligible for IMI Kolkata FPM admissions.

IMI Kolkata PGDM Admissions
IMI Kolkata PGDM programme is the flagship programme and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The two-year, full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management equips students with the necessary skills to manage the dynamic business with ethical values. It hones the analytical and problem-solving skills of the students. Candidates desirous to take admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management programme have to apply and appear for CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT and secure a valid score and then on the basis of these scores they have to appear for a Written Ability Test and Personal Interview conducted by IMI Kolkata and the final selection criteria includes CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT (overall percentile), verbal ability percentile, academic profile, work experience, WAT score and PI score.

IMI PGDM Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission in this programme have to appear for the CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT and secure a valid score.
Then, the candidates have to apply online on the official website of the institute submit the IMI Kolkata application form along with the required documents at the institute.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT educational background, marks in Class X and XII, graduation and work experience and they will receive the Interview Call Letter.
A Written Ability Test and Personal Interview (WAT-PI) will be conducted by IMI Kolkata Past academic performance in graduation, Class XII & X, Psychometric Test, Essay Writing and Personal Interview will be the final criteria for shortlisting of candidates for the final process.
Shortlisted candidates will receive the admission offer and they have to pay the IMI Kolkata course fee.

IMI Kolkata FPM Admissions
IMI Kolkata FPM programme caters to scholarly needs. The course promotes contemporary academic research and facilitates research. FPM is divided into two phases wherein in the first phase comprises of course work for two years followed by a comprehensive examination (CE) and during the second phase, candidates have to work on their thesis. IMI Kolkata offers admission to Fellowship Programme in Management on the basis of Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and then they have to appear and qualify the personal interview round.
IMI Kolkata FPM Eligibility
A masters degree or it’s equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
A graduate in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Should have a professional qualification such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in addition, all the candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in all of their public examinations starting with the secondary level. (Work experience will be given preference).

Appear and qualify for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
Complete the necessary admission formalities
IMI Kolkata FPM Admission Process
Eligible candidates have to register online for admission to FPM based on the respective disciplines. The application can also be submitted offline.
Further, candidates will be called for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
CAT/GMAT/GRE qualified candidates (with a valid score) can also apply for admission to FPM.
Final selection of the candidates will be based on the academic qualifications and work experience, Tentative research proposal and its presentation before the Selection Committee, Admission Test (Research Aptitude Test) and Personal interview.

Candidates who apply online for the admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of information provided in the application form:
- CAT/XAT or GMAT score
- Academic Record
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process - Individual Assessment Process (Essay Writing and Personal Interview etc.). Individual Assessment Process will be held in February/March 2021 (tentative).
The Final selection of the candidate is based on Entrance Exam Score + academic profile + WAT Score + PI Score Admission Offer will be based on a composite score arrived after the assessment has been made during the various stages of the selection process, defined above. The result will be emailed to the shortlisted candidates and will be notified on the IMI Kolkata Website. Applicants are advised to provide their complete postal address and active email ID which should be valid up to 30th June 2021 for receiving important communications. Successful candidates, who have been offered admission, will be required to pay the 1st instalment of fee within two weeks of the date of offer, failing which the offer shall stand lapsed and admission will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list, without any further intimation.
