Janata College, Sefranguri Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library is rendering services with more than 15,000 covering a wide range of subjects viz. collection of books on humanities, and social science. Apart from textbooks and reference books, the Library subscribes to a good number of periodicals and journals – popular magazines and daily newspapers for easy access to the students and faculties. Besides the Central Library, the individual departments have well-stocked libraries for the help of students and teachers.

The college has one Boys' Hostel. They are situated on the college campus. Hostel seats are allowed at the time of admission based on merit and necessity (the Home distance of the applicant from the college). An application for admission to a hostel has to be submitted to the superintendent in the prescribed form. The admission to and stay in the hostel is governed by the Janata College Hostel Rules. Hostels remain closed during the summer vacation. Admission to a hostel is only for the academic session. In no case may a student reside in a hostel without admission.

The college has a one tree storied Girls' Hostel. They are situated on the college campus.
