The B.Sc. (Hons.) Environment and Sustainable Development programme which combines natural and social sciences with humanities and emphasizes scientific knowledge, with a specific focus on the Sustainable Development Goals. JSES hopes to support global efforts toward a sustainable future with cutting-edge teaching, research, and practice-based engagement through national and international collaborations, promoting interdisciplinary studies and joint teaching and research programmes.

The B.Sc. (Hons.) Environment and Sustainable Development programme provides specialized training and education in the concepts of sustainable development, providing an edge to students who aspire to become environmental and sustainability managers. This programme will enable students to assess and advise on environmental compliance while ensuring continued productivity, and they will be able to contribute more profoundly by pointing out the 'way forward' that would enable the achievement of the conservation of natural resources without compromising productivity.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirement for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Environment and Sustainable Development program at Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability is a passing score in the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent. Candidates from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Admission Details

The admission process for the program is based on a holistic approach, which includes a personal statement, supplemental question, Class X and XII marks, faculty interview, and a JSAT/SAT/ACT score. The selection is conducted over three rounds to ensure each application is evaluated in its unique context.

College Infrastructure

The campus feels more like its own little world than a typical college. It's huge, green, and completely residential, which fits perfectly for studying the environment. The auditoriums and classrooms are top notch, and i basically live in the library since it's open till late and has everything i need. Between the high tech labs like the GIS and the massive sports complex, including that swimming pool and professional grade courts, it's easy to balance academics while staying active.
