Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Guwahati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library was established in 1977 along with the establishment of the college. The library has a great collection of books, journals, magazines, newspapers and e-resources. Geetanagar College library facilities include separate reading room, open access, computer with wifi facilities, previous year question papers, e-books, e-journals and NDLI services.

Kanya Mahavidyalaya Guwahati sports facilities are provided to students. These sports facilities support both indoor and outdoor sports. The sports grounds are well maintained and an environment is created for students to engage in various sports activities.

An auditorium facility is provided for academic and cultural events. Geetanagar College auditorium serves as a venue for seminars, workshops, conferences and guest lectures. The auditorium provides an opportunity for students and faculty to engage in intellectual discussions.

The laboratory facilities are provided to students on a departmental basis. These laboratories help students in gaining hands-on experience and practical knowledge of theoretical concepts.

The cafeteria facilities are provided to both students and staff. The cafeteria provides refreshments at an affordable price. Hygiene is given prime importance. The cafeteria and its surroundings are always kept neat and clean.

Geetanagar College provides I.T infrastructure facilities to the students. There is a computer lab which consists of around 10 computers for the use of students. These I.T infrastructure facilities enable students to stay updated with the latest technology trends.
