KBP College Vashi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college is spacious, safe, and equipped with all necessary facilities, and the women's hostel can accommodate approximately 90 girls. Its modern architecture and clean surroundings are highly appreciated.

The College library is hosted in a separate building on the campus and is enriched with more than 43,000 books and 130 journals and periodicals. Also, thousands of books and journals are available in e-format. The library is fully automated with a computerized barcoding system. It offers the following services for the benefit of students, researchers, and faculty members: advanced computer-based search system OPAC for locating the books/journals, free Internet facility, reprography on a payment basis, current awareness service to inform about new arrivals, selective dissemination of information to supply updates on current affairs, newspaper clippings, latest books, interlibrary loan facility for borrowing books from other libraries like- British Council, TISS, etc. Separate reading rooms for boys and girls are available throughout the day. There is a 'Book Bank' facility for providing textbooks to needy students. Apart from the central library, every department has its collections of books [hard copies] and e-learning resources.

The College has separate laboratories for each science subject and junior and senior college classes. Most laboratories are air-conditioned and have all the necessary equipment. Postgraduate and research laboratories are equipped with sophisticated instruments that are well-maintained for use throughout the year. There are seven computer laboratories with around 250 computers with the latest software. Laboratory attendants and fire extinguishers ensure safety in the laboratory.

The College has an air-conditioned plush auditorium with a capacity of 250, which is used for hosting conferences, seminars, invited talks, and training sessions.

The College has a playground Spread around 2.5 acres. The playground has facilities for Cricket, Tennis, and Volleyball.

The College Has separate gymnasiums for ladies and gentlemen. They are well equipped with modern equipment, and they are free for students and teachers.

The College Main Building's ground floor Area is 2000 sq. ft. The canteen serves a variety of dishes and beverages. The canteen committee closely observes its functioning to maintain the quality of food and cleanliness.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility.

The College has an Alumni Association that has contributed immensely to the development of college students and the academic endeavors of the college.
