Katyayani College of Education, Meerut Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Badaruddin Nagar Nanu, Sardhana, Meerut, in Uttar Pradesh, Katyayani College of Education is fairly newer amongst the institutes. Pharmacy education at the college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The eligibility for students pursuing pharmacy programs at Katyayani College of Education is based on the eligibility criteria for pharmacy programs existing in India. Pharmacy criteria include passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects or Biology as a major subject.

Application process

The application process will largely follow the below-mentioned procedures, the first of which is a public notice: 

1. Public Notice: In the usual course, a public notice will be given relating to the admission procedure through the concerned college website or through local newspapers. 

2. Application Form: On expressing interest, the candidate shall obtain the application form, which would be available on the college's official website or at college campus. 

3. Document Submission: The applicants would send through the documents as required along with the duly filled application form. The documents required would mainly comprise:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• Entrance exam scorecard (if applicable)
• Character certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Passport-size photographs
• Other documents as specified by the college 

4. Entrance Examination: The respective candidates will have to undergo an applicable entrance examination, if required. The college could accept scores for state or nationwide pharmacy entrance examinations. 

5. Merit list: A merit list will be drawn, on basis of entrance exam score and/or 10+2 marks.

6. Counseling and seat allotment: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a counseling session where the seat allotment will be made on the merit basis.

7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates would pay the required fees in order to confirm their admission.

8. Document Verification: College will check all original documents before giving final admission.

Degree-wise admission process

The two major pharmacy programs of Katyayani College of Education are:

• B.Pharma (Bachelor in Pharmacy):

- A four-year full-fledged course. 

- As per the approval granted, the intake is 60 against B.Pharma; 

- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology will generally suffice for eligibility criterion. 

- For admission procedure, entrance exams for pharmacy and/or 10+2 percentage may be taken into account. 

• D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy):

- This is a two-year diploma program. 

- As per the approval granted, the intake is 60 against D.Pharma; 

- Eligibility requirements must typically require 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. 

- Admission on the basis of evaluation of 10+2 marks or state-level entrance examination. 

The college administers both programs in co-educational systems for boys and girls.
