KDC College of Pharmacy, Mathura Admission Process

KDC College of Pharmacy, Mathura, is one of the premier institutes in the field of pharmacy. The AICTE and PCI recognition enable the college to provide quality standards in pharmacy education. The campus is structured in a way that promotes student learning.

Rahul KDC College of Pharmacy is an easy way to satisfy the admission desires of a working candidate wishing to earn a career opportunity in pharmacy. The two key programs offered are the 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and the 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma). Altogether, the institute can take 160 students, 60 for D.Pharma and 100 for B.Pharma.

Generally, the college admission procedure follows the academic calendar, beginning in an academic year pre-starting in rounds, whereas students are likely to have passed their 10+2 examination in with physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics of the compulsory subject. Depending on the program, each will have its own minimum percentage in aggregate requirements.

Application Process

  1. An official announcement regarding the admissions in made by the concerned authorities.

  2. Application forms may be collected from the campus or the admission office.

  3. Dully filled application forms along with necessary documents are to be submitted either by hand or by postal service/courier.

  4. The documents, which may be required, include:
    • The duly filled-in application form
    • Passport-size photographs.
    • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates.
    • Category certificate (if applicable).
    • Any other certificates as may be specified by the college.

  5. Payment of application fees as may be specified by the college.

  6. Selection will be done purely on merit, which is based on the academic record and possibly the performance in any entrance examination.

  7. The merit lists will be issued by the college.

  8. In the stipulated time, selected candidates confirm the admission by paying fees and submission of original documents.

  9. Orientation programs will be conducted for the first-year students for introduction to college facilities, faculty, and curriculum.

Degree-wise Admission Process

  • B.Pharma: 4 years under-graduation course with an intake of 100 seats. Admission is merit-based on the performance in the qualifying exam of 10+2 and possibly also entrance exam.

  • D.Pharma: 2 years diploma course with an intake of 60 seats. Generally admission depends on merit based on 10+2 examination.

Both these programs train students for working with the health and pharmaceutical industries.
