KK Handique Government Sanskrit College, Guwahati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College organizes sports and cultural activities during the academic session.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

 The College Library has a collection of more than 15,000 copies of texts, references, and general books covering a wide range of subjects. Out of them, there is a collection of rare and valuable books. Besides, many useful and valuable journals, magazines, and newspapers are regularly subscribed to for the use of students and teachers as well. The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, contributes its latest edition of books regularly to the library free of cost. The library is open for college students and teachers only. There is a cell of Book Bank to provide books for poor and meritorious students for the complete academic session.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

Since the beginning of the college, a boys’ Hostel has been running on the campus for the benefit of the students. Students from different corners have to stay. They do not have to pay seat rent. Only the expenses for food are required.

The college has proposed to the Government of Assam for a separate Girls’ Hostel. Of course, the Girls’ hostel has been running under college authority management since 2014-15 in a rented house.

The college has a strong Alumni Association with the president's leadership, Sri Surjya Sarma Ltd. Teacher of Maligaon H.S. School, and Sri Madan Sarma as the General Secretary. The Alumni of this college have achieved a good position, holding professorships of different Universities and Colleges, Administrative officers in different departments, reputed teachers of Schools and Tools, and other prestigious jobs. The well-known Satradhikar Sri Jitendra Pradhan, who is also the president of Assam Satra Mahasabha, was a student of the first batch of this college. The present Alumni Association has played a tremendous role in the betterment of the college shortly.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
