KMCT College of Engineering for Women, Kozhikode, Kerala was started in the year 2008 and is an best college for women engineering aspirants. Based at Kalanthode, Kozhikode, Kerala, the college, an affiliated college occupies an area of 5.32 acres of land. Recognized by the AICTE, KMCT provides its 340 students a wide choice of engineering courses. This college has a well-qualified academic team of sixty fourth members which makes possible to maintain a positive student-teacher ratio. KMCT — Mission and Education KMCT is a technical education provider offering 6 courses for 2 degree programs, which focus on different types of engineering.
The college thus has the appropriate goal of ensuring that its students get the best available learning experience through availing of the best facilities. Eventhough KMCT is newly emerging organization it has excellent hostel facilities within the technical campus/adjacent to it with full-fledged play ground and other related facilities. It has their own well stacked library, sports facilities and well developed IT soft wares for education purposes. There are also facilities like Cafeteria for contains the students and staff’s meal requirement and Auditorium that contains event and seminar complexity. The college also has well equipped laboratory for practical lessons The college also has efficient laboratory for practical sessions too. Using a health center with first aid is possible to Get health services. To provide commuting services KMCT buses are available for regular transport from different parts of Kozhikode city for the student and staff community residing outside the campus.
The college provides a total of 6 courses out of which 5 are B.Tech courses and one is M.Tech course. All B.Tech programs are 4 years full time programme and M. Tech is 2 years full time programme. The opportunities to join the college, overall from all courses, are 340 for students. The B.Tech courses are Information Technology, Electronics and communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering. At postgraduate level, the college has evolved an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering.
