Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) is a three-year full time degree programme. It is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The course is divided into six semesters. The course helps the students in getting a specialized knowledge in the area of Accounts, Cost Accounting, Financial Management and Taxation. The teaching methods includes lectures, presentations and case studies. There are various guest lectures and seminars conducted in order to give practical experience to the students by the professionals.

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree makes the openings for work in the field of Accounts & Finance Consultant, Accounts Assistant with a Chartered Accountant, Accounts Executive, Accounts Officer, Assistant Controller, Business Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, Finance Executive, Finance Officer, Internal Auditor, Personal Financial Adviser, Research Analyst, Tax Assistant, Treasurer.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) Degree course shall have passed XII std. examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate at first attempt (40% in case of reserved category). Every candidate admitted to the degree Course shall have to register himself/herself with the University of Mumbai.

Admission Details

Admission to the course offered by the rules framed by the University of Mumbai from time to time and will be given at the commencement of the first semester.

Candidates seeking admission other than Maharashtra board and colleges affiliated other than University of Mumbai must produce a Transfer Certificate from the board/college last attended.

College Infrastructure

The college had all the required facilities in classrooms and the premises were well maintained. There were quite a few nice eateries nearby where day scholars like me could go grab a snack between classes. The library was quite good as well.
