It has a Research Cell for scholars pursuing Ph D. It provides OPAC (Open Public Access Catalogue) facility for online searching and reservation of books. Automation is done with the help of KOHA software and a bar-code system. Compactors are used to store books. The Reading room area is brightly lit with comfortable seating or about 100 persons.

It is technically superior and enjoys pride of place within the college premises with a capacity of 300 seats.
