    MCP Admission Process

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy is among the leading colleges in Andhra Pradesh for pharmaceutical education. The selection of eligible candidates to join the college is based on various entrance examinations for a fair and impartial selection based on merit. The academic year usually starts between August and September, corresponding to the commencement of the admission cycle in Mahathi College of Pharmacy. For undergraduate courses, admission into B.Pharma and Pharma.D is held through the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). The examination for Mahathi College of Pharmacy admission of postgraduates to the M.Pharma course is done through the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).

    Candidates desiring Mahathi College of Pharmacy admission to the B.Pharma or Pharm.D. programmes must have completed their 10+2 education with core subjects comprising Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. The eligibility criteria for admission may differ slightly, but generally, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination must be secured. A candidate willing to take M.Pharma admission should have completed their graduation in B.Pharma from any recognised university.  The major entrance examination for undergraduate students is called AP EAMCET. Usually, it is held in May, and the results are announced in June. The AP PGECET for the master's programmes is held approximately in May-June of every academic year.

    The application process for Mahathi College of Pharmacy varies according to the programme:

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy B.Pharma and Pharma-D admissions:

    • Reports for the AP EAMCET examination.
    • There is the qualification of the AP EAMCET with a good ranking.
    • Register for AP EAMCET counselling.
    • Opt and choose MCPM and the desired course during the counselling.
    • If granted a seat in this process, report to college for document verification and admission formalities.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy to M.Pharma degree programmes:

    • Report to the AP PGECET examination.
    • There is the qualification of the examination with a good rank.
    • Register for AP PGECET counselling.
    • Choose MCPM and the desired M.Pharm specialisation during the counselling.
    • If granted a seat in this process, report to college to advance the admission process.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy Degree Wise Admission Process

    The college provides six courses in three degrees.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy admission in B.Pharma programme is made through AP EAMCET Rank, and there are around 100 seats in the college for the 4-year undergraduate programme. All those candidates eligible as per the AP EAMCET can apply for admission to this course.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy M.Pharma Admission Process

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy offers M.Pharma with specialisations in Pharmaceutical Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. Each specialisation has an approved intake of 19 seats, and admission will be based on AP PGECET rank. Candidates having a B.Pharma degree can apply for these two years of postgraduate programmes.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy Pharma.D Admission Process

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy admission to Pharm.D. is based on AP EAMCET ranks in the same way as for B.Pharma. The number of seats approved for this programme is 33. It is a six-year doctoral programme providing advanced training in pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy.

    Mahathi College of Pharmacy Documents Required

    • AP EAMCET/AP PGECET rank card,
    • 10th and 12th mark sheets,
    • Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets (for Pharma applicants),
    • Transfer certificate,
    • Migration certificate (if applicable),
    • Caste certificate (if applicable),
    • Recent passport-size photographs.
